While individual members of The Winehounds have performed everywhere from big-time stages to dive bars, the group is most at home playing music at Santa Barbara County wineries. Led by renowned singer-songwriter, Ruben Lee Dalton (6- and 12-string acoustic guitar), and featuring Falstaff Riley singer-songwriter David Starkey (acoustic and electric guitar, bass),

The Winehounds’ set includes a mix of originals and covers with an alt-country flavor. Accompanied by the expert playing of Peer Amble (bass, guitar, keyboards, ukulele) and the expressive singing of Sandy Starkey, the group brings a lively yet easygoing vibe to any event. Imagine a mellow-ish jam session featuring John Prine, Waylon Jennings, the Old 97s, the Jayhawks and Roseanne Cash, and you’ll have some idea of The Winehounds at work.
